I am so glad you are here!

My name is Jacqui Orr.

I am a Professional Organizer and Productivity Consultant

​

I started The Blooming Opal because I get excited about organizing anything and everything.

A friend told me that I had an illness because I love this work. For me, nothing is better than having processes in place to make life simpler at home and/or at work.

​

Organizing and finding ways to work smarter, not harder is truly something that I find to be enjoyable. Some people cringe at the thought of clearing out the clutter, I get excited about what lies beyond the clutter; Potential, Hope, Peace, Joy, Living!

​

On a personal level, I have loved ones who suffer with Chronic Disorganization and hoarding behaviors. I understand how that affects the individual as well as the other family members. By coaching and working alongside individuals who struggle with such behaviors, I can teach new ways of thinking, organizing and maintaining their belongings and living spaces for a more healthy environment.

​

I had read a quote several years ago that sums up why I do what I do; "When work, commitment and pleasure all become one, you reach that deep well where passion lives and nothing is impossible."

 

What I enjoy even more is helping others with their spaces that have gotten to be too much for them to handle on their own. Seeing the grateful, thankful faces when I am finished with newly organized spaces is truly an honor and privilege to have been a part of their journey to reclaim peace and joy back into their lives.

There is something that sets my soul on fire and I get excited when I meet with a client and get to know them and their needs. I see the potential just waiting to bloom!

I have a BA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and a minor in Business Administration from SUNY at Buffalo.

I have 32 years of combined Restaurant and Medical Practice management experience.

I am a member of  the National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals (NAPO).  www.napo.net

As a professional organizer, I carry business liability and bond insurance.

When I am not working with clients, I can be found spending time in my craft room, working on DIY home projects or spending time with my Labradoodle.
